Best sushi in SWFL hands down. And best variety too! You get what you pay for here, large rolls, delicious and quality ingredients. We couldn’t be happier with our dinner last night. We ordered through bite squad. We were missing a roll - we had a large order. But other than that, the food is incredible and we would definitely recommend this place!!

I decided to visit & try their Pho. I didn’t know what to expect considering I am an avid of reading reviews and looking into online menu’s. I truly must say totally surprised to find a place that just does tendon Pho- like WOOOH! My excitement heightened! I tried their fried pork dumplings, the spicy fried tempura sushi (OMG) The rolls were massive. But the end all be all THE TENDON PHO (OMGOSH - I am so in love) Thank YOU!

Went out for a rare date night. We love Asian food and this place didn't disappoint. The Tom Kha soup with chicken was delicious and the Tom Yum with shrimp was good as well. The Lab Kai I wanted more spice or lime, but it was still tasty. The sushi boat for one was a ton of good quality sushi as well as a ginger salad (with seaweed salad also in the bottom of the bowl). The massaman curry was exactly what my wife wanted - creamy and delicious with a ton of large shrimp. Service was fast, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The most kind people dining and serving at this place. The owners are such wonderful people too, I can not speak highly enough of them. I loved it so much and would totally recommend this restaurant. I tried a Thai dish, pho soup and a sushi/sashimi dish. All fresh ingredients and well cooked.

This resturant is busy on the weekends which is a challenge but it is also a good thing because so many people know their food is excellent.
My drunken noodles were awesome and my wife's sushi was excellent.
The atmosphere is nice and the service adequate when they are busy.
Their wine is a little pricey it would be nice if they had some more economical choices. They have a loyalty program so be sure to ask about that.
We will definetly be back!

Captain Hook's serves Sushi, Pho and Thai in a nicely decorated restaurant just off Santa Barbara. Those are some of our favorite foods, so we were excited to visit last weekend. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She went out of her way to give us a rundown of the menu and insight into their rewards program. Our drinks never went dry, as she whisked them away for refills regularly.
The menu offers a nice selection of specialty rolls and across the board they seem to contain many combinations with a large number of ingredients utilized per roll. At other restaurants I've ordered rolls that became quite large and were challenging to eat because of the number of ingredients, so I tend to pay attention to that. I was really impressed that the sushi chef accounted for that and sliced the rolls thinner. The rolls were still a larger diameter but were easy to eat because of the portion size. I ordered and shared the American Dream and Dancing Eel rolls. Each were made with fresh ingredients and were good but did not standout as special for my palate.
My husband ordered the Beef with Garlic Sauce. He said it was good and he had no complaints but it didn't stand out above other similar dishes he has tried.
Final Analysis: At the moment I would offer a rating of 3.5 Stars. The environment is nice and the service is friendly and efficient. The food was good but we haven't yet discovered a dish we would consider a favorite.

My wife and I love coming here. We started when they re-opened after the initial plandemic scare in 2020, when the business was fairly new still. We got to know the owners and our favorite food server, Melanie. Now it's every table stays full and we had to wait a while 2 minutes for a table. The food and atmosphere are both excellent. We mostly come for the sushi, but have had the pho several times as well.

We had a very good dinner here when visiting with friends in the area. The group was a party of 7 and included 2 almost teens.
We sampled different parts of the menu mixing some of the Thai options and fresh sushi options. The menu is large enough that you can find something to please almost everyone.
Our group had (and liked) their Tom kha soup, tofu red curry, ginger green salad, chicken satay with peanut sauce, sushi, seafood pho, chicken with cashews, a cucumber roll with cream cheese... and a couple tried their Thai beers.
Service was pleasant and accurate. So were the bills. The food came out with good timing and everyone seemed happy with their choices.
I'd certainly like to come back when next in the area...
